Howkins & Harrison were proud to sponsor a charity golf day at Kenilworth Golf Club earlier this month, to raise funds for the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (Royal Warwickshire) Museum in Warwick.
A charity auction was held on the day, conducted by senior Howkins & Harrison partner, John Hall.
Organiser Polly Lazenby said:
“His efforts raised over £4000 for the museum – not many people in the room escaped without bidding!
“In total, the event raised £8188, which we are delighted with.”
“This kind of financial support is necessary to help this wonderful museum survive, particularly with the withdrawal of financial support provided by the Ministry of Defence.”
The museum tells the story of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and its successors from 1674 to the present day.
