On Tuesday 20th November, we held a Property & Land Auction at Kilworth Springs Golf Club where we offered seven different properties for sale. We had a brilliant turnout of genuine and motivated bidders in the room.

We were successful in selling six of the seven lots either under the hammer or by doing a deal following the sale in the room afterwards – proving that there is interest and competition out there for the right property at the right price.

We were able to secure some great sales for our vendors with the successful bidders taking on some great investments or projects to get stuck into.

Here is how it all went…

 

Weedon property auctionLot 1

21 Croft Way, Weedon, Northamptonshire NN7 4QX

A fire damaged two bedroomed Victorian cottage in need of extensive renovation on a double width plot with potential for extending/redevelopment (subject to the necessary consents). Extending in all to approximately 0.064 acres.

Guide price = £110,000 – £120,000

Sold for = £141,500

 

Lot 2Kislingbury land auction

13.53 acres of arable land at Rothersthorpe Road, Kislingbury, Northampton NN7 4AB

A useful block of arable land with well-defined boundaries and road frontage on to Rothersthorpe Road, Kislingbury. Extending in all to approximately 13.53 acres or thereabouts.

Guide price = £135,000

Sold for = £145,000 

 

Lot 3Property auction

Land at Fir Tree Lane, Swinford, Leicestershire LE17 6BH

A building plot with permission for a three bedroom detached property with off road parking and garden area. Extending in all to approximately 0.05 acres (202 sq m) or thereabouts.

Guide price = £150,000

Sold for = Not sold during the live auction but sold in the room afterwards

 

Lots 4&5Land auction

21.68 acres of arable land off A5 Watling Street, Welton, Northamptonshire NN6 7UF

A useful block of arable and pasture land available as a whole or in two lots with well-defined boundaries. Lot 1 has road frontage to an unnamed road leading onto Daventry Road and Lot 2 has frontage to A5 Watling Street.

Guide price, lot 1 = £190,000

Sold for = Not sold during the live auction but sold in the room afterwards

Guide price, lot 2 = £90,000

Sold for = £97,000

 

Lot 6Brandon land auction

Building Plot & 1.45 Acres of Permanent Pasture at Avondale Road, Brandon, Coventry CV8 3HS

An opportunity to purchase a building plot with permission for a bungalow with paddock land and river frontage in a popular Warwickshire village. Extending in all to approximately 1.69 acres (0.68 hectares) or thereabouts.

Guide price = £185,000

Lot 7Development site auction

An opportunity to purchase a building plot with permission for a six bedroom house (GEA 3914 sq ft) and detached garage in a popular south Warwickshire village. Extending in all to approximately 0.3 acres (0.112 ha hectares) or thereabouts.
