Princethorpe College National Schools’ Two Day Equestrian Event

Tuesday, 21 May 2019

The Stoneleigh Riding Club 2-day event has been running for over 18 years now in conjunction with Princethorpe College. This year will play host to 240 horses and their riders representing 21 local riding clubs and 27 schools from all over the country.

We are joining the headline sponsors The Wigley Group, to help Princethorpe with hosting the event. Riders and their horses will be staying locally and we’d like to thank all the local yards providing lodgings for the horses.

This is now the only UK event running with the standard two-day event format. And this is why competitors keep coming back year after year. 2019 sees the return of last years’ exciting addition of the large water section that The Wigley Group installed.

The event will start on Saturday, 25th May with the first rounds. Sunday 26th will see more competition, culminating in the finals on bank holiday Monday, the 27th May.

This is a great event to go and watch on the final May bank holiday weekend. The general public is encouraged to visit and spend the day enjoying the grounds of the beautiful Princethorpe College, whilst watching the riding.

Entry is FREE and there will be food and drink on offer. One of our Partners Jeff Paybody, will be on site with some complimentary drinks and nibbles, do pop along and see him if you go.
