How to work out your property wish list

Tuesday, 19 June 2018

When you’re searching for your next home, it’s important to really know what you’re looking for before you start – and what you’re willing to compromise on. Is outside space a must, or is it more important to be close to transport links? Are you prepared to take on a renovation project, or would you prefer somewhere ready to move into? We’ve put together a handy chart to help you come up with a “wish list” of requirements for your new home.

You can download and print out your property wish list chart here – fill it in and find out what you really want!

Or something more modern?

Once you have a clear idea of what you’re looking for in your new home and you’re ready to begin house-hunting, you can call us for a free, no obligation valuation of your current property. Our team of experts can guide you through the process of selling your house and finding your next home.

Whilst working out what you want is a really valuable exercise, sometimes you’ll fall in love with a property that breaks all your rules and ticks boxes you didn’t even know you had. It’s important to get a feel for properties when searching online, but nothing can beat a viewing – never totally write a property off because of something small when browsing online. A viewing might give you a feeling about a property that you just wouldn’t get from seeing a few photos. Sometimes it’s the properties we least expect that catch our eye in real life!
